About AAYC

We, the Afghan youth residing in the United States of America, want to unite all Afghans and encourage them to work together to help our people inside Afghanistan.

Pledges



  • I pledge to accept all Afghans as one people and will never make distinctions among Afghans based on ethnicity, language, religion, region, politics, or other prejudices.

  • I pledge to exercise neutrality between Afghanistan's political parties and groups.

  • I pledge to be nonviolent in deeds and in words, and will respect the opinions of others and accept differences.

  • I pledge to behave in calm manner and refrain from the use of insulting words, gestures or fowl language.

  • I pledge to accept the majority decisions in accordance with the democratic rules.

  • I pledge to educate, motivate and recruit at least five young Afghans to join the Council.

  • I pledge to listen and take into consideration the instructions of the advisory committee.

  • I pledge to assist and protect members of the council as my own brothers and sisters, and will never put them in any jeopardy.

  • I pledge to mediate disputes between members and create a healthy environment free of tensions and hostilities.

  • I pledge to pay five dollars per month as membership dues every six months in advance.

  • I pledge to abide by the Constitution of the United States of America, and obey all American laws.
